REW can't handle .csv/.txt frequency response files with mixed step size between samples.
I sometimes have to get creative when combining frequency responses, which can lead to some chaotic frequency response files.
For example, here I had to "bridge" two graphs by drawing a line in...
I have another request, but it's a lot more involved, and very specific..
When doing THD+N vs Level sweeps of Amplifiers, it would be awesome if REW could dynamically adjust the step size to selectively increase resolution where it's most needed.
Here's the sort of end result I have in mind...
Also really nice would be the ability to load multiple measurements in the CTRL+O and CTRL+I dialogues:
CTRL+A to select all
CTRL+left click to select multiple
Shift+left click to select all in between
Feeding the DAC externally is what I'm doing at the moment.
For some frequency response measurments though, I like to use the stepped sine method instead of the usual sweep or noise.
And for that, REW must control both DAC and ADC.
Would it be possible to add the ability to set a separate sample rate for the DAC and ADC, ideally using EXCL? I'd like to measure the DAC's response close to Nyquist, without the ADC's own Reconstruction filter affecting the results.
If I could set the DAC to play at 44.1kHz and the ADC to...
Today I measured a poor DDC chain using V5.20.14:
As you can see, it turned an 11k sine at 44.1k Fs into 10.1k (can only handle 48k Fs and multiples properly).
What threw me off though is that the distortion box in the RTA Window still shows the generated frequency, not the measured one.
Could...
This is probably a noob question, but why does the frequency response that I get when importing the impedance response back into REW change depending on the sample rate that I chose during the export as WAV?
What export settings should I choose to match the "Predicted" graph that I get in the EQ...
I can|t find the option to export as impulse response. The only options I see are "export filter settings as text", "save filter coefficients to file", and "save this filter set".
Hi REW community!
Is there a way to convert a set of PEQs into a frequency response txt file that can be imported to REW?
I'd like to do some trace arithmetic with other frequency responses, but can't figure out how.
I wouldn't mind doing the conversion in some other program or tool as long as...
