Hi I just updated and there used to be a button in the SPL/Phase window to generate minimum phase to view excess group delay in GD window?
I cant see it, in Beta V5.4 106.
I am used to viewing this as attached?
Ah I see, so then I calibrate Ch1, then remove loopback from Ch1 and put it in Ch2?
And the reason we are doing this is because we need to calibrate the microphone channel?
Hi, I am just wondering about interface calibration is it correct that my microphone is connected to my left input 1 and my Loopback is connected to my right output 2 and input 2.
When I go through the pages of calibration, it seems that the calibration input is been taken from the microphone...
I see, thanks, it's difficult to say which is which from looking at the GD and FFT graphs, so I am presuming all of the delays in the higher frequency range in the GD graph from reflections.
Thanks, so I read all this, so room modes can also cause fluctuations in the excess group delay, creating a non-minimum phase. So how can I tell when its a room mode or a destructive summed reflection?
