I see, thanks, it's difficult to say which is which from looking at the GD and FFT graphs, so I am presuming all of the delays in the higher frequency range in the GD graph from reflections.
Thanks, so I read all this, so room modes can also cause fluctuations in the excess group delay, creating a non-minimum phase. So how can I tell when its a room mode or a destructive summed reflection?
Hi I am trying to understand what the Excess Group Delay EGD is telling me, I wonder if could you tell me if this is correct.
If there is a large spike vertical in the group delay window. It is telling me that there is a reflection of X amount milliseconds, if this corresponds to a null in the...
Hello I keep getting this error on Mac Book Pro, 10.15.7 in a Focusrite scarlet.

I still think it's confusing, how an ever, great software, thank you.
"The loopback connection goes from the output channel that will be used for measurement (usually the Right channel of the Line output) to the input channel that will be used (usually the Right channel of the line input)"
Maybe it's just me not understanding it.
It says output from right to input right, shouldn't it be output right to input left (then disconnect from input left and put into input right for timing reference loopback).
Thanks, I understand now, I wonder if it would be good to state this in the instructions for calibration, as it does not say that here;
The audio interface is measured with an external loopback connected to allow its frequency response to be determined and saved as a calibration file. This...
Thanks for the reply.
But I need the loopback to measure the input channel, so do I measure ch1 with the loopback, then disconnect and put it in ch2 as the reference?
Hello, I am trying to follow the calibration setup, but something is very odd.
I am using a 2-channel Focusrite interface, when I follow the calibration instructions it says to connect the loopback to channel 2 when I do this there is no signal when I try and measure, it only seems to work when...
Hello, could anybody point me in the direction of information regarding the phase response, and how do I interpret this, has anyone done a tutorial or does anybody have any documentation on this, I could not find any information in the some guides and acoustic measurement page, or is it the case...
