    Correcting speakers without subs

Thanks, I have went for the second option just cutting the major peaks with the new target. It now sounds great with rich base.

    Correcting speakers without subs

Thanks Bernt I have tried that before. It never sounded good for some reason. How will that bring me closer to my goal? also are there plans or a way to measure the subs together and make corrections that take into account their interactions in the room?

    Correcting speakers without subs

I have carefully placed my two subs using REW and RTA to a degree that they are almost flat. When AL corrects the subs it does so individually and doesn't take into account the interaction. What I want to do is have AL time align the subs and speakers but leave the subs frequency response...

Pre-purchase help - HW and time domain q's

There is a learning curve to AL. No doubt. Try by looking into Mitch Branetts videos and articles to get an idea of how it's done.

Improving the FIR Filter of My 4-Way System

Why did you choose to use a mid frequency? Also try to increase the TTD window like Bernt suggested, leaving 2 cycles difference between the 24khz and 10 hz. Look at the TTD default settings.

    W11 stability

A quick question to @juicehifi and @Mitchco . Are AL and HLC stable under W11?

Beginner trying to figure stuff out.

OK. I am aware of this notion of connecting the sub to the speaker outs of the amp to retain the sound signature of the amp. Yet this really relinquishes some of the best features of AL. To achieve the best that AL can give you it would be preferable to measure the sub as a separate channel...

Hi, This measurement makes much more sense. The difference here is the room. I am not sure about your question with the AL version. At any rate if it doesn't then upgrade. That is if you can measure the sub as a separate channel. It isn't clear to me how the sub is crossed and from where. DAC/Amp?

So you think the LF bump is from the sub? can the sub be measured separately? If you have a 2.1 system it should be measured as 2.1. That way AL could also time align your sub, which can boost sound quality significantly. A decent tripod is a must.

I see you use 3sec sweep. Try 5 or 10. If you don't get pops and cracks then use the longer sweeps. Also it seems that there is an almost 0.2ms difference between your speakers. Are you sure that the mic is exactly in the middle between the speakers? Your curve looks fine IMO, you could follow...

    Soundstage issues

OK. So I solved my issue. For me it meant toeing out the left speaker a few degrees and not the tones align perfectly.

    Soundstage issues

Hi, My speakers are not symmetricly placed in the room. The left speaker is further away from the side wall then the right one. My soundstage, even in True TTD, is not wide and focused enough IMO when seating in the LP exactly between the two speakers. I tried this soudstage test: and the...

4 way active stéréo loudspeaker : XO, fixed attenuation, tweeter Time delay

You got good answers. My 2 cents. For No. 1. If you use a multichannel professional audio interface you can adjust the gain of each channel individually. That way you can compensate for different speaker sensitivity by level matching all the drivers (relative to the LP) in advance.
