    V5.20.14 early access build

@John Mulcahy , any idea how to proceed with the issue from post #256? Using a spare old laptop running an older Linux Mint I now could get the soundcards in question to work in REW (again with pulseaudio removed)... but the question remains, how come speaker-test and other alsa progs (like...

    V5.20.14 early access build

No change when pulseaudio is disabled (actually: package removed). The points is, why does speaker-test (part of alsa-utilties) work? It doesn't show "device busy" (like it would when another program has opened the device already). I double checked with 5.20.13, no difference.

    V5.20.14 early access build

@John Mulcahy I'm experiencing problem with soundcard detection, under Linux (fresh Linux Mint install on Intel NUC). REW (V5.20.14ea20) refuses to work with almost all USB soundcards I currently have at hand, the only working one is the RME ADI-2 Pro. The soundcard lists fine and works with...

    V5.20.14 early access build

@John Mulcahy , V5.20.14ea15 raises "array index out of bounds" exception when importing (or dropping) a WAV into the RTA with a FFT size larger than the sample count in the file. Suggestions for possible fixes: - zero padding to end of FFT - zero padding at start of FFT - zero padding...

    feature requests

I'm going to collect a few personal feature requests here. Feature Request #01: DC output/offset (priority: medium) Sometimes it would be nice to have a DC output or DC offset capability. - simplest way to output DC would be to allow duty cycle for square wave generator to include 0% (negative...

Looks like my "latest" was the state of yesterday morning, with 5.20.14ea12 it's OK now. Sorry for the confusion...

    V5.20.14 early access build

@John Mulcahy, bug report: "saving all measurement" into one single mdat not working, I get only a 1kB sized file containing truncated data on loading. Using the latest build on Linux.

    V5.20.14 early access build

@phofman, using the "Daloa" theme (which has thicker window borders) and patching its "themerc" config file I now have a even higher contrast between active and inactive windows, clearly visible borders and I could finally select my favorite active color which is orange. In REW with John's...

I'm using "Moheli" theme ("Daloa" and "Kokodi" are also nice) in Window Manager (Xfwm4+Compton), and the Mint variant Xfce.

Did that, no difference wrt to borders and focus indicator.

    V5.20.14 early access build

Undermining the standards happened to start after XP, sadly. But with some tinkering you can have a title bar accent color. The title bar accent can be overridden by user software, though, starting with Windows' own utitilies :-( And sadly some professional softwares do that too, for example...

    V5.20.14 early access build

Just tried the new version on Linux Mint but what in the world is this, the visual interface seems totally broken? Windows/panels have no visible borders and the window/panel which currently has the focus cannot be identified as there is no accent color of the title bar. Note that both features have...
