The mic icon does not flash if I select the internal mic on the macbook. So it appears to be something to do with the E1DA.

I am still seeing this issue. Anyone else? I turned mic permissions off and back on again which did not help. I am using an E1DA cosmos as the source if that helps.

Yes it does, and it seems to mostly have access except for the brief interruptions where the mic icon quickly blinks.

I should add that I am on a M3 Macbook Pro and running Rew V5.31.3

I have recently updated to sequioa. I noticed that every few seconds, the RTA graph seems to reset and this coincides with the orange mic "in-use" icon in the menu bar flashing. Has anyone else encountered this or know a workaround? It seems to happen more when the generator is on.

I see about a 20dB difference in SINAD measurement when switching between FlexASIO+WMD-KS vs Java-Exlusive mode. I see similar differences using other backends in FlexASIO (number of dB varies). Others using the E1DA Cosmos ADC see similar issues. I am happy to test things out if you have any...

For others having this issue, I have reported it on the FlexASIO github issue tracker (can't post the link here as I don't have 10 posts yet). I did try WASAPI exclusive, but it does not provide the same results for me as WMD-KS.

I am using REW for audio measurements using a Topping E50 DAC and a E1DA Cosmos ADC. I need to use WMD-KS backend as it appears that the other backends sometimes manipulate the data. However, when I select this backend, the sample rate selection drop-down becomes empty in REW. Any idea how to...
