Hi Kal,
Good advice.
Tony Grimani is working on my room for when I move back post-palisades fire. One option that I can't make logistically work is a good one which is an isolation product for under the carpet. Rubber, wood etc... It is 3/4 in tall which is causing me a real world issue but...
I think literally nothing (perhaps a nice carpet/rug) would be better.
The point seems to be to keep physical things from reflecting your center image. :)
OK,
I was there on DAY ONE of Blu-ray. Hell, I paid $3,000 for a PS3 on day one (and I am not a gamer but we needed it for review at AVRev.com)
but I've never heard of a Blu-ray recorder? Have you?
I've never seen a Blu-ray-R (disc)
It has to be possible on the commercial level but my...
There are a FEW dealers that I know are for sale for close to NOTHING and the older sellers just want somebody who loves AV to keep the party going.
What you can earn being an audiophile salesperson is significant in 2025. When I was a kid in college, I sold Cello with Joe Cali and Mark...
I read some good advice from this crazy- audiophile advice site that I saw in my Google Feed.

I've got Pi6s and Pi8s from Bowers waiting for review.
I am MUCH BETTER at over-the-ear wireless headphones than IEMs but I will get these done this summer!!! :)
Just checking in with some audiophile headphone forums (I saw them here) ...
Has anyone heard the new Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 headphones?
We reviewed the Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2s RIGHT AT THE END of their lifespan and my uses them but asked for a new pair. It is her birthday soon. I might...
I love IEMs (in ear montiors) and with a little bit of a pro audio background, I tend to like the Ultimate Ears UE Pro Capitol Records Remastered IEMs.
They are without question expensive. They require a custom fitting like the on-stage IEMs used by the best performers but their light weight...
Glad to see you are onboard with Estelon.
One of the reasons why I don't get back into Home Theater Publishing is that there is NO NEW GROWTH. In audio - there are younger, newer companies. Some are crazy expensive like CH Precision (Alan Taffel at TAS turned me on to them and my friend Kevin...
They are from ESTONIA.
They have a very organic form factor. They go lower than you might expect too. Gorgeous colors. Open sound.
Greg Handy, one of our staff writers at FutureAudiophile.com bought them.
Here's my review of the Estelon Aura loudspeakers if you want to dig deeper.
