Just wanted to update as a friend of mine bought AudioLense today and is encountering the exact same issue. He's just on AudioLense 2.0. No XO or multichannel stuff, but cannot use WASAPI exclusive or it tells him his soundcard is no good
Just to chime in here since I actually got an M23R recently myself, something definitely seems wonky with what you shared. The fact that the third mic you tested aligns closer with the UMIK indicates there's something wrong with the M23 measurement rather than the UMIK. But whether that's the...
As to DSD to PCM conversion, this isn't exactly new. And the info (and graphs) they've provided show nothing of value since there's no context to what they're comparing to.
Plenty of devices have done DSD to PCM conversion, most modern DACs can do it internally, companies like AKM sell specific...
I doubt it unless they were to significantly change how the product works (at which point they'd be better off launching it as a new product rather than attaching it to a name with questionable history).
The issue is that it seems from everything that's been shown so far that the new 'Qrono' and...
So I'm currently trying to set up an AL convolution for a 2.2 system but have been completely unable to get it working for the past two days.
If anyone is able to help me fix this I would GLADLY send you some cash or buy you a pizza or something. I'm completely unsure as to what I'm doing wrong...
Thanks Bernt
I tried the separate streams option, which does then allow me to actually make a measurement with the ASIO output to the Motu and MiniDSP WASAPI in, but then it seems to get all of the timings completely wrong, including thinking one of my main speakers is several ms behind the...
I am currently using a Motu 8D to feed two DACs so that I can run a DSP crossover with audiolense. However I'm having absolutely no luck getting it to work in Audiolense itself currently.
If I choose the "Motu Pro Audio ASIO" driver as the output, then it connects to all four channels, 'test...
Also, just noticed that when using the 'wav+cfg' output option, it does not output the sample rate that the measurement was taken at.
ie: I measured at 88.2khz, on the output rates box I select all options from 44.1khz to 384khz (including 88.2khz) and it outputs everything but no 88.2khz file...
So Audiolense 6.21 was working fine but when I updated to 6.23 I'm having two issues which may or may not be related.
First issue is that when trying to export using the 'Roon' format, I get this error:
I can get rid of this by selecting "Use resampled measurement" but cannot use "Resample...
