I too have been testing the beta version (on Mac). Development is happening, a few bugs to squash but mostly looking really good. I've used it in Mitch's standalone host and also as an AU/VST type plugin.

If you use a host like Kushview Element it would be pretty easy to route output signals from a 2ch source to a multichannel DAC and use any reverb plugin to host the correction filter for output on any given channel or pair. Check out this thread...

Wait till you get to the end of that thread... The Okto is a great piece of kit and I have no regrets purchasing it BUT communication is really necessary. The Motu MK5's are out of stock until later this quarter, the 8A and some of their larger full size rack models work too.

How did this work out for you? I'm extremely curious as my Okto is supposedly shipping out in the next week or so and I'll have to be implementing the same thing very soon on my M1 Mac in Roon.

I can confirm Element works fine on my M1 Mac mini and Big Sur. I'm expecting my Okto to arrive in a couple weeks so have been playing with different ways to get my active XO working when I finally get to ditch the MiniDSP4x10. The XO filters I have at the moment are 8 individual .wav files...
