Ok yep that fixed it. Both drivers report the same now. Also the measurements now match my handheld SPL much closer too. FYI I am using Win 10 (21H1).

Attached. Just to clarify, my signal chain is REW (HDMI) > AVR (Sub1 Out) > MiniDSP HD > Amp > Sub. Left main speaker is disconnected. All 3 of these sweep measurements are measuring the same subwoofer.

I notice the SPL meter (UMIK-1) when measuring a quite room is about 10dB different when using Java vs ASIO drivers (so not the LFE boost thing). For instance Java will measure 34dB, while ASIO with measure 43dB. I have tried ASIO4ALL as well as all the FlexASIO backends. The Java driver...

Figured I would share this in case it meant something. For the Left speaker, it compares the default delays Audyssey set, to an adjustment I made in the AVR to bring the Left delay into alignment to the reference Surround Right. The Left+SurRight is both speakers playing at the same time before...

Thanks for the quick response John. The speakers are Triad Silver LCR for fronts and all surrounds, so just a single tweeter. Of the many things I have experimented with (and the result is always the above graph) is changing to reference to other speakers. The results are always the same...
