NAD C 368 Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier w/BluOS Review

Great review, Matt! Could you elaborate on how one goes about using the C 368's crossover features to integrate a sub or subs? What's the range of crossover frequencies you can select from? Thanks!

Forgot to mention the poll at the top of this thread. Please vote. :)

    Yamaha R-N803 or Outlaw RR2160?

Thanks, I'll check that out. That's been suggested to me before (getting an AVR), but there are a few reasons I want to stick with two-channel gear. One is that I feel the amps in the two receivers I'm looking at are probably of higher quality than those in an AVR at a similar price point...

    Yamaha R-N803 or Outlaw RR2160?

I should add that I am aware of the Parasound Halo integrated amplifier, but at around $2,500, it's way above my budget. My dream amp would actually be the Anthem STR integrated amp, but that's even pricier at $4,500. A guy can dream...

    Yamaha R-N803 or Outlaw RR2160?

I'm looking to replace my ancient Pioneer SX-680 stereo receiver with something current. I plan to use at least one, but most likely two subwoofers in my system, so a solution that has built-in bass management is crucial. After doing my research, I've narrowed my choices down to the two models...

Win 4K UHD Blu-ray Copies of Gladiator AND Braveheart!

I'd love to see either of these, but since I've had DVD and Blu-ray versions of Braveheart before, I'm most looking forward to seeing the improvements made on the 4K/UHD version. In it to win it, I hope! Oh, plus winning these would give me an excuse to finally upgrade to 4K. ;) —Chris

HSU Research CCB-8 Bookshelf Speaker Review

Thanks for the detailed review! How do you think the CCB-8s would sound in a room where I don't have enough space to place them nearly 5 feet into the room? The room is big enough, I guess, but it's used for TV/movies as well as music, so having my TV and speakers 5 feet out from the back wall...

    New to AV NIRVANA!

Thanks! I live in upper Montgomery County (Gaithersburg). How about you? Also, what's the best audio gear store to go to around here? I've been wanting to check out Gramophone, but so far in my speaker search I've only gone to Magnolia (at Best Buy) to hear some B&W and PSB towers. —Chris

My budget is somewhat limited and my timeframe is pretty far out, so it'll depend on when the Chane L-series comes out and what price range they're in. And if I've found something I like before then, I doubt I'd order anything else just to compare. Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! —Chris

    New to AV NIRVANA!

Hi, all! My name's Chris, I live near Washington, DC, and work in graphic design/desktop publishing. I've got an ancient two-channel system that I'm planning to completely update over the next couple of years, so I'll be looking for opinions/advice on speakers, subs, and universal players. I'm...
