I’ve always been obsessed with watching movies in a rich acoustical environment in private!
I have a deep passion for the old traditional type of cinemas, since I pretty much have all my equipment and it’s still boxed(what a pity), my ultimate home theatre room has yet to begin. It’s in the planning stage, which eventually will lead to constructing it..
I’m pretty good with hand tools and constructing things that are needed, since I already purchased a lot of power tools, take, for example, my four units of surround speakers, they are not surround speakers in cabinets, they’re just the drivers, so I have the option of going in wall, which always looks neat and orderly or, I can just build some cabinets for them and go outside wall and bypass the electrical inspection.
But I’m totally open to all kinds of home theatre rooms. That’s a big reason why I joined, but more realistically I joined because gosh it,….I just wanna be around my own people who share the same passion as I have for many decades!
Ever since seeing the first Star Wars release Episode four 1977 on the big screen as a young dude, it blew me away, since then I haven’t stopped watching movies on the big screen, can’t get enough of it, just can’t get enough of that sugar crisp!
