Description
After sourcing an 77" LG CX in March 2021, I went thru the whole upgrade process around 4K and then ATMOS. This involved eventually replacing nearly everything except and Apple TV and some cables.
The Audio set up is now all SVS, Prime Pinnacles for Left and Right and SVS Ultra Center. The Side and Back surrounds are SVS Prime Satellites and Two SVS PB-2000 Pro's supply the bass. Front and Rear Height Speakers are Prime Elevations.
There are two Bass Shakers, one placed on each of the reclining end seats of the 3 person couch, driving by a FOSI Audio M0-3.
The Equipmemt Rack consists of a Denon X4700H with all 11 speakers powered externally by an Emotiva BASx3 for the LCR and a Starke Fiera8 handles the surrounds and height speakers.
Media Content is provided by a 2019 Nvidia Shield TV Pro (primarly for the Plex Client app), an Apple TV 4K (for Apple Music and streaming), a Panasonic UB820 for the discs not in the PLEX System.
Currently system automation is handled by a Harmony Companion via Harmony Hub with an Elite controller standing by if the Companion fails, which is integrated with Alexa for voice control.
The Network that supports the system is all Unifi based.
Supplementing the main system is a 43" Hisense 4K TV and my Vintage Pioneer SX-737 (same system I had shortly after I got married about 50 years ago) that drives the Wharfedale EVO4.2s, often with content from a Sonos Port.
