Well I just streamed via Plex ATMOS audio through my 3070. Everything I was hoping for, wasn't sure it would work, has flawlessly.
I'm liking this receiver more and more; the web interface is fantastic and I believe could set this receiver apart for most.
I'm done. For completeness I order a Emotiva A-300 (2 channel 150 Watt Amp) to power my LR, the 3070 should capably do the rest. Particularly noting I'm running 95 dB sensitive speakers.

Have the 3070 arriving tomorrow, one thing I have yet sorted is the multi-channel amp.
In my 7.1.4 setup still trying to decide if I should use the external Amp for LCR or the 4 ATMOS speakers.
It really comes down to what power the 3070 could deliver across the 7 other channels.

Not to discount the all important ear these figures (5 or 7 channel) seem low (3060) to me compared to the competition.

Fantastic review of the RX-A3070, apart from cosmetic are there any other critical differences between this and the RV-V3083?
