Hello everyone!
Which phase graph should I trust? Phase or Unwrap phase?
I'm providing phase graphs for the subwoofer and midbass speakers on the left and right, measured in REW and Smaart7.
Screenshots are attached:
Now I understand what you're talking about. Thank you very much. I'll reinstall the new version instead of the old one and repeat all the measurements.
Good luck to all of us in this Life!
I don't really understand what "smoothing processing" means. I understand perfectly well that the phases of the subwoofer and midbass speakers should match throughout the maximum range of their combined operation.
Thanks for the clarification.
Can I consider the measurements on the garage laptop to be accurate?
Or do I need to remeasure them using the latest version of the program?
Why do measurement results appear differently on different computers?
The first image is the measurement result on a laptop in the garage, and the second image is the display of the same measurements/files but on a home computer.
The screenshots show the results of the subwoofer and midbass...
The factory datasheet for Thiele/Small specifies exactly this voltage 2.83 volts.
*** SensitivityThe sound pressure, in dB, produced by a speaker in response to a specified stimulus. Usually this is specified at an input of 1 watt or 2.83 volts (2.83 volts = 1 watt into an 8-ohm load) at a...
Thank you, John!
I activated the options as you recommended.
But I can't set =0, only a little higher or a little lower.
Is it possible to enter the parameter =0 manually?
What is the exact frequency of the port tuning?
I always thought that the zero crossing was the absolute indicator.
How and with what to determine the exact tuning frequency of the subwoofer phase inverter port?
Hello everyone!
How to tie the cursor position on the phase grid to the zero mark? It is not set quite accurately yet.
This is necessary to accurately determine the tuning frequency of the phase inverter port.
