I put -5db into out field and clipping Is gone.
It seems i am done although ddude set up makes me curious what i can gain with It. If web literature Is available please point me to that so i can learn "another side of the Moon"
See picture.auto gain can be disabled and this Is the standard setting. As i only cut frequencies i suppose should leave in and out likes they are now?
Maybe few tips to use rew eq avoiding to put too much pressure on amplifier?maybe doing eq , i have reduced the headroom too much? Although its the First time i have clipping.maybe is this record specific. If you want i can send you the file for your test?
Hi John, its with the exellent crave eq vst i load in audirvana. With eq off the clipping goes almost completely away .i think its a combo issue.anyway the dxd Is very very hot being not the standard lufs i usually hear .It has peaks of -0.4 which Is surprisingly at the border of risks i...
Hi all, with your advises all went smooth except today.
I use moving mic measurememt with success and end up with filters for fullrange not only below 200hz. I only cut frequencies and never boost. Compared to the rew suggested level for eq i decrease a couple of db to engage more peaks and my...
Hi all, my fullrange speaker reproduce well enough 35hz but can't go lower. Thinking it would be a good idea to clean the lowest end that the amp deliver but the speakers can't. Moreover think amp will be released from unnecessary work and will perform overall better.
With my digital vst crave...
Hi all, will move from single point sweep(1 for left and 1 for right channel sweep) to rta moving mic technique in real time. I always reasoned as left and right single measurements while the mmm force you to moves the mic all around left and right scene. After you got the measurement how do you...
Photo 1 I think was before I pushed match response to target. I will read manual to understand how to tell rew to use a low shelf. So far I was jush using match to target and it was mixing peak and low shelf filters. About 6 to correct below 200hz.
Back to manual to learn and then back here...
Indeed ddude003! I use Audirvana software on my Mac and from there I go directly to a dds reclocker that do its cleaning work, then send it to the dac.
With macos rew suggests me to use Apple AUNbandeq, although it might be probably better I would use Crave eq which I use in my recording...
Hi, unclear to me how practically do this. Example: If I have a response curve measured at listening position that goes 20-20000hz if I eq only below 200hz,the interface will not eq above it. To my understanding if I get the filter this way they will not be related anymore to the freq above...
