My limited understanding is that with the Hypex amplifiers in BTL you have to invert one side of the wiring which will put the two amplifier channels out of phase. Does this mean that my woofers will be out of phase?
I might, switch my amp to my mid woofer(midrange) in my tri-amp system from a Hypex NC502MP to a NC122MP in BTL. Does that have detrimental affect on impulse repsonse or group delay or any other factor inlfuencing sound?
Regarding gain, I am not too fussed as I often switch the gain from the...
Great, thanks so much. I just had no idea why changes where made in the preferences after I downloaded but then again maybe it had made some changes and just not measured after the change, in any case thanks again. Regarding the ETC I will send screen shots to explain what I mean.
I haven't really changed anything in the preferences. Except maybe keep full IR.
Also, the ETC is the way I used to see it in the overlay but not in the main screen but that isn't too important as i can use the overlay to check the ETC. The FR is priority....
I tried with the log spacing both checked and unchecked and I am still getting a FR with 1/48 without it having the option to change it. And the smoothing is definitely no smoothing. This only happened after upgrading REW to the latest version. Could it be something else?
I checked th ebox, I will retest to check if that does the job, not that I doubt you. But, the Filtered IR also looks different than the usual ETC is this the same issue...?
Oh brilliant, taken me 5 years to figure this out really apreaciate it.
Also, I just downloaded the latest version of REW and my new measurements are all 1/48 smoothing and undoing smoothing is not changing it. Any ideas? Next to selection options at the bottom of the screen to choose the right...
For the life of me, I just can't figure out how to get my step response to look like this. Is it something to do with the limits or perhaps can it be that there is no offset(mentjioned in the REW help)? I mean from the visual perspective not acheiving a decent step response I just can't ever...
I am sure this is going to be a difficult one but I am hoping few of the experienced guys can chip in with there knowledge as this doesn't pertain only to REW. I am sure this has be done before to some extent...
I want to measure my system with my convolver on. The convolver usually loopsback...
Got it. Yeh.
But your second recommendation is to use the target curve in Audiolense to pull down the HF which might give a flatter response towards the high frequency right?
Ear positions as in multiple varying listening positions?
And summing feature where do I find it? I am presuming that it combines all the measerements are you saying that is a better indicator of what we hear...?
