But you can set your Fronts different than your Center and Sides, Heights, etc, yes?

    Onkyo RZ50 Owners thread

Could you help me understand the takeaway on Jay's picture showing the Crossover settings? To me it doesn't specifically confirm each paired channel can have independent crossover freqs? Unless I'm missing something. Thank you!

Both are capable of processing 11.2 channels, but only 9 discrete amplifiers. Usually the Zone 2 terminals and Height 2 terminals are powered by the same amp, so you have to program the receiver which apply's to your geo-spatial setup. ie, do you want a powered 7.2.2 or a 5.2.2 with a working 2...

Onkyo, Pioneer Elite, and Integra Deep Dive: A Fresh Look at the Brands’ Latest AV Receivers

Thanks for the context from AVS guys, I'm assuming. The brushed aluminum accounting for the $100 delta makes sense and is the primary reason it's my 1st choice. (One other picky reason is that I'd like the additional 12V triggers) And finally, to be super duper picky, Elite's less clunky AVR...

Obviously. But my post is in reference to Vincent already getting his hands on the RZ.

Has anyone found a video review for the Elite's yet? I'm Tyrone Biggums itching for details on how the 505 compares to the Onkyo RZ50.

I trust them as an authorized retailer - I don't trust the $1099 price. I just can't. Unless they know more than everyone else from the distribution channel.

Onkyo, Pioneer Elite, and Integra Deep Dive: A Fresh Look at the Brands’ Latest AV Receivers

I'm with you if Pre-outs is your #1 ranked Feature. But after that, the RZ50 measures better against the 6A. Plus, Yamaha is being lazy and not even releasing their lines with the 2.1 / VRR features already enabled. Sorry, but this is a "B.S" thing for a product line in the $2-3K range. www...

Onkyo, Pioneer Elite, and Integra Deep Dive: A Fresh Look at the Brands’ Latest AV Receivers

Thanks for the very descriptive new product thread! I have been looking for a replacement for my Onkyo 708 I've had for the last 11 years. Denon caught my eye late last year, but I think that my patience will pay off as both the RZ50 and the Elite 505 are in my ballpark!

The A4 has nothing on the RZ. You might want to compare those products again.
