Hello John, thanks for the reply, Using the generator on my PC in goes to a USB connected UCA-222 and then to my Stereos preamp via RCA cables. I have never used the PCs speakers. I always want both channels to have the same tone ie [L+R]. I did just try try the generator and the outcome...

Hello, with the many fixes to REW I noticed that in the past opening the program: The tone generator I set the output to [Default Output and L+R], I would stay set. Now every time I launch REW the generator output reverts to [Speaker and L]. thanks...chris... and thanks for the move to...
