Sorry I was not thinking of running audio through the computer, the hdmi on the 805 is non functioning. I am happy with the sound overall just curious wanting to tweak the sound with REW, if it was feasible with my present setup.
Dude,
I am only using the Blu-ray player, tcl and a Bluetooth box to put audio through. I have no plans to used the computer for audio. That does put me on the fence about getting the umik and tuning the system further. Thanks for the input.
Sincerely,
Dan
Kal,
Ok. I think I am going to pass for now. I am getting a Denon x8500h eventually, and want to be able make sure the audeyssey is doing a good job of customizing my sound.
Sincerely,
Dan
Kal,
The 805 has some eq adjustments are: it comes with audessy xt32: 63Hz, 160Hz, 400Hz, 1000Hz, 2500Hz, 6300Hz, 16000Hz for speakers, and 25 Hz, 40 Hz, 63 Hz, 100 Hz, or 160 Hz for subwoofers. Not enough for me to use REW, right?
Sincerely,
Dan

Hello,

I have been in the hobby for over 30 years. Started with a stereo system, which I then plugged into my TV, got an Onkyo THX 990 system, and was impressed. Then I found out about SVS, got some of their subwoofers, saved and got a great deal for an Onkyo 805, and kept my HTR 940 to drive the...
