FWIW, I am able to connect fine to my Denon home theater receiver using the front HDMI AUX 1 port. Only works with the Java driver in REW, however. Which means I am not really using the additional speakers. But at least I do get something.
I am interested in this question also, so reviving this thread. I just cannot get the ASIO driver to work at all.
I am using ASIO4ALL v2. I have that selected as the ASIO Device. Output can be any of the offered 8 outputs, with NO results audible from the speakers.
Input selections only...
Honestly, what I have sounds pretty good to my ears, so I am thinking that just running REW with everything "as is" may be the way to go. I spent a lot of time tweaking settings in my receiver over months to get where I am at right now, and I believe my ears are telling me that it wasn't...
I guess I made my post too long to catch anyone's attention. So I cut out all the fat, just leaving the bones. Or is my question just to simple to be worthy of a reply?
Anyway, on to my question. I want to run REW through my Denon receiver and play around with the EQ on each of the three SVS subs. I haven't run Audyssey since I put the new subs in, so it is due, but what comes first, the chicken or the egg? Do I go into my receiver and zero out all the level...
Oops! Did I post this in the wrong forum? Should it be in the Official REW (Room EQ Wizard) Support Forum instead? That's what I get by just following links from Google based on keywords I searched on, I guess.
