So FWIW, retrying again on the Sub, the "Match the target" had integer frequencies. The "Manual Optimization Control - Freq/Gain/Q" did produce franctional Hz.

Ok - wrong again. On the "Filter Window", the frequencies display as integer vaiues. When you store them, sometime some of them are not integers. I did find that the MTRX Studio has a minimum frequency of 20 Hz and had to go update all the Configurable PEQ settings and that also was a bit prone...
