Hi,
I finally did my first measurement and correction with REW and the EQ settings in the Eversolo.
I'm already quite happy with the result even if I certainly could do better with more work on the placement of the speakers.
In the same time, I only applied a simple flat curve in REW but I don't...
Yes I'm really happy of these speakers and I'm sure they can produce a cleaner and more transparent sound than what I experience at the moment in my system and my partially treated room.
I"ll work on a first REW measurement and upload of parameters this week end as suggested by Sonnie and see if...
Hi @ddude003 ,
My source is an Eversolo DMP-A6 with a Denafrips ARES 12-1 DAC/Denafrips IRIS 12TH DDC.
I should be able to upload the REW file correction to the eversolo to benefit from it.
My home cinema are high sensitivity horn speakers but they were to bright for long listening sessions.
So that's why I bought these Qualio IQ speakers, from a small company from eastern europe that, IMO, reach the live sound that I search for with a more neutral and way less fatiging sound.
I...
Unfortunately I can't do anything for the shape of the room as I'm not the owner of the appartment and I don't have any other room to install my speakers.
Thanks for your advices, I'll do my best with REW and the upload of the corrections into the DMP-A6+speakers placement (listening position is...
Thanks @Sonnie Parker ,
I've worked on my home cinema system but not yet on the stereo one (with REW) so it will certainly help but I was not aware/convinced it have an effect on the transparency of a system.
Imaging, soundstage and frequency response for sure but transparency, we'll see :)
I...
Hello,
I hope to post my topic in the right forum :)
As you can see in my signature, my stéréo system is actually composed of these devices:
Eversolo DMP-A6
Denafrips ARES 12-1 DAC
Denafrips IRIS 12TH DDC
Stereo amp NAIM Supernait 3
Qualio IQ speakers
Concerning cables I have on the more...
Hello,
I have a HT 7.1 based on GKF horn Speakers (a french maker) with moderate acoustic treatment and EQ done with REW. The room is around 18m2 but (no "back wall") open on the kitchen.
They sound great for home cinema but I found them too fatiguing in stéréo even at moderate volume.
As I...
Yeah, I see...
First the bass treatment in any corner (or neer in my case) and then the first reflection point if needed.
Thanks, I'll search for products deliverable in my area that follow your advice:"my next suggestion is to place bass absorbers at the front wall as close to the corners as...
Ah @thothsong .. another POV that will not make my life easier :)
as I'm single, it's not an easy task to check the mirror trick but I would say that the first reflection should be effectively just before the window and on the first bookcase that I try to empty and perhaps put away.
I'm lost as...
Thanks @thothsong & @ddude003 for your fast answer !
@thothsong I could probably put some bass trap on the left side of the screen but no way on the right so I don't know if the result would be even worse or not ? do you have advice ? for the first reflections, I thought to put some amovible...
Hello,
My home cinema is installed in a living room as you can see on the pictures with furnitures, door, window and no back wall.
At the moment, I have 3 GKF speaker at the front (High gain french speakers), 4 KLIPSH RP-400M as surround and an old version Sub BW PV-1.
I already asked help from...
I did it 2 to 3 years ago maybe so I have the files but it's hard to use them and I didn't find a relatively easy way to have infos on the use of the graphs and what should be corrected (by software or acoustic treatment).
I just saw a part of the forum named "Room Acoustics and Treatments" so...
In fact, I'm in search for upgrading my home cinema and it could (have been ?) a possibility but it seems not to be the right one for me because, yeah I'm pretty happy with my current sub and my money should go anywhere else. I'll create another post in the right section but if you can give me...
