I just followed your advice ( thus the quote ) for stepped sine measurement to be better used for distortion... As for v5.40... I am running a MBP9,1 with Macos 10.13 / 10.14 and now you want a higher Macos to work with REW ? Please make it work on 10.14.6 since I specially upgraded to 10.14.6...

How should I interpret the distortion figures in these measurements - also stepped sine... The Motu 896mk3hd was measured with a loopback @ 48, 96 and 192 kHz Distortion figures in stepped sine measurements go way up in the highs...with higher sampling rates Thanks for hints Klaus

Hmmhh... If I start the generator and start RTA after, the clock ∆ goes down to ca. 1.8 ppm and then struggles If I start RTA first then the generator, the clock ∆ goes down all the way to 0.2 ppm and no flickering... Is this only on my rig ?

How can we find out ?

...if such dropouts happen, I would hear them for sure, not ? I can listen to the loopback and can't hear anything... I can re-check but am alsmost sure the clocks are the same everywhere...
