I think the issue with single point correction is danger of overfitting/overcorrection of random things that shouldn't be corrected.
It will measure better from that single point, but it should be safer to measure positions across a small volume for a MLP-focused...
I'm always surprised that more acoustic treatment companies don't sell products targeted at front wall SBIR, since typical acoustic panels aren't well suited for it.
