Hello,
here I do not see such a behavior wit my Mac setup. I do not use Umik but dedicated analog mics and various USB audio adapters though.
Did you check in this Mac Midi-App how the audio settings are?
Hello,
would it be possible to add sending measurement sweeps at the same time through L+LFE like already possible with L+R via HDMI?
Like an option to measure a channel with same signal also via LFE out maybe?
I like to check some issue with bass management.
Thanks.
8x 18" CB in my front grid and 8x 15" in the back. Stopped testing today at 122dB. Getting dangerous. Distortion is also still nice at these levels. I think I finally arrived...
Small teaser - this is my current DBA frequency response and waterfall. (just two different CamillaDSPs Linkwitz Transforms (two different speakers and housing sizes in front and back DBA grid) and some EQ):
Hey,
biggest step forward regarding audio in my HT setup was switching to CamillaDSP for processing of all channels coming out of my Yamaha A5100. Limitless possibilities together with REW. Convolution etc. was never easier.
Hi John,
thanks for fixing this.
Did you also change something related to window positions at multiple screens?
I initially thought this was also fixed because my first "make a measurement" window appeared at my external monitor where also REW main window resides and I was happy. Unfortunately...
Nope, REWˋs main window starts up at my notebook's screen and when I drag it to my larger monitor the secondary windows appear every time at notebook's screen.
Another wish:
Could a button or so be implemented in every window or a global menu entry (e.g. in Preferences: "Save window positions" ) to save current pop up window positions and screens?(e.g."Make a measurement" )
Here this window always jumps back to screen 0 and every time I have to drag it...
Hey John,
thanks for adding this.
Would be nice if the resulting vector average would be automatically named like the individual inputs.
E.g: Measurement with 7 mics for left speaker: L-1, L-2, L-3, L-4, L-5, L-6, L-7 => L-VectorAverage (or L-VA)
Would prefer the shorter form.
And one more...
Hello John,
I'm measuring with pro version and 8 microphones.
Could you add an option to automatically cross correlate to the first mic and then to vector average the correlated? (immediately after measuring) Currently the options allow to average without cross correlating things first I think...
Hello John,
I'm following moedra's howto but apply it to a 3 way speaker here for my woofer. Observing that convolution filters go only down to 60dB attenuation. This results still in audible sound in the tweeter range.
Please take a look at that screenshot. Could you make A/B filters attenuate...
Hey,
maybe a similar cause has been discussed and solved here?:
