Well this is weird. Today everything seems to be well lined up to each other (using the original audysee sub distance). The alignment tool is almost identical to the real scenario.
THanks I will do this today. Yes the L R are always set to Large, as they are 804 D3's and have a sizeable power amp attached. (plus they are usually hi level to the REL but for the purposes of this excercise I have left that unconnected for now).
Any thoughts on why most of the channels apart...
Hi All. I'm checking the after-cal distances with REW and find that most channels, except the surround rear L and R and the surround L, are off with the impulse response. The SUB is well off when checked with REW.

Hi JOhn - yes it's one of the newer 18 gain ones and using the 90 deg cal - nothing has changed with how I'm using it between beta 15 and 16/17. All the input and ASIO settings as as usual. The cal file is input in the new fashion in 16/17 in the new cal tab.

sweep volume levels are still audibly equivalent and still at -12dBFS. Umik-1 90deg cal used as usual and checked that mic input on the computer still at 81. HDMI output still at 100. win 10 64 bit
Using Beta 17 - my DBa values all seem to be half the amplitude after going from beta 15 --> 16 (and 17). Some changed parameter? sweep values are now in the 30 ish db range and background about 26Db!!! real quiet.... not!!!
