Has anyone else checked for an updated calibration files from MiniDSP for thier UMIK-1. I found that my UMIK-1 had new calibration files and I loaded it in to REW. Now my UMIK-1 reads 5dBs lower than the last cal file. I am wondering if this is correct? I have attached both calibration files...

The issue has been resolved and the problem was a defective miniDSP UMIK-1. Attached is a measurement of the left front ML EM ESL with the new UMIK-1.

I am also curious of the loopback result on the EVGA sound card and may attempt this.

@Sonnie Yes, I have spent many hours trying different combinations of speaker angle and depth to achieve the best sound for the room. I have to say I have no complaints there at the moment. I do agree, even a small change can have a large impact. But I may revisit this again.

John, thanks for the reply. Below is the measurement result from the mic(with standard cal file) pointed directly at the left speaker. The result is compared against the average of the 9 original measurements.
