Thanks for the link. The textured finish looks on a subwoofer but the speakers I'm building/restoring will be LCRs and I think a smooth finish may suit the type of speaker better. Better get my sprayer ready!

All good points. Many speakers require placement that almost demands a dedicated listening room to sound good. I love electrostatic and/or ribbon speakers but the space needed to place them properly is so intrusive in a normal living environment.
