thank you guys very much.......im excited to build this thing !! the house will hopefully be done in November so maybe there will be some seasonal discounts on the equipment..........
I have watched videos and read articles on this subject. I understand that a received is an amplifier with a radio built in. Im not a radio listener, so I thought "well Ill just get an amplifier". But then I thought "where do I plug all my components in? Amps dont have hdmi inputs."
Here...
10 feet ceilings. 3 of the 4 walls are all on the exterior of the house, so they will have spray foam insulation. there is one entry way into this room and its from the kitchen. The 4th wall will border the kitchen/study. No windows, no closets.
Im considering this sub for my 400 sq ft home theater.
I have read its vital to have 2 subs for any high end system. One covers for the other in helping equal out the low frequencies in the entire room. But would 2 of these over power my room?
thank you for your input.........im trying to determine when the "law of diminishing returns" kicks in. I dont think I can justify paying $6,000 for two Noesis 212's when I can get 2 RF 8000 Klipsch for $1,400. Yes I understand the Noesis are much better speakers, but are they worth $4,600...
I will have a 16' wide x 25' deep x 10' tall dedicated home theater room. No windows. One small closet. It will be a 1 story house.
Any advice is appreciated.........I have an appt with the electrician in a few weeks. Would like to get everything I need installed now.
Thanks !
I have seen numerous tests on subs at 130 dbls and speakers that crank out 2,000 watts or more. I see people posting how they test their subs to show the max performance, but they do so with ear plugs in. Ive even seen a few who have done damage to their theater rooms because of the vibrations...
