I have a Mac mini 2012 feeding a minidsp 4x10hd, via the mini toslink / headphone out jack of the mac mini. If I use the USB on the back of the mac mini, should I expect any different sound quality (better or worse)? I would then have to use a USB to toslink/coax bridge to get into the minidsp...
