The procedure in the linked document worked fine. I just had to realize that the 'mixer' ocntrol had to be fully clockwise, or feedback will result.

@John Mulcahy is this a bug in REW that is likely to get fixed? If so, I will keep the hardware anticipating a fix. thanks, chris ps. Great product you have here

Quite to my surprise, I discovered that my headphone amp has a line input. I configured that and it worked great.

John, I didn’t configure it in MIDI. I’ll look into that. Turns out the device is apparently meant to be used with the Audacity sound app. I’ll check their manual too. thanks, chris

Sam, Thanks. I found an input device which appears to almost work. It is recognized and configurable and usable with the scope. As soon as I try to calibrate it in the Measurement module I get an error. Should I give up and get the Steinberg? I tried other sample rates as suggested. .

Is it possible to configure the miniDSP 2x4HD as a sound card input to use with REW? I want to setup the impedance measuring rig. I've tried and searched with no luck so far. On a MacBook Pro M1. Thanks, Chris

I haven’t done experiments to confirm that time alignment is audible. But I do feel that when performing measurements it’s really easy to see that the crossover is smooth if there is time alignment. And I will use the delay in the dsp crosssover to accomplish this. Physical time alignment of...
