So, although it is not on Dirac website currently, will the Dirac upgrade option be available at a later date?

Having looked at the Dirac website they are saying the Marantz cinema 70 series will not have the Dirac option available? Will this just be an option at a later date?

Will wait to see pricing for me in OZ. Most likely the 70 will be my new AVR. Finally get to try Dirac options also will be a plus.

While this amp is outside my budget I do like the passive cooling design. Very nice. They do create some very nice looking products. I love the 28" subwoofer myself. But for my wants I would want 8 subwoofers at a minimum. My savings account isnt ready for that hit yet. :D

Great timing as I am about to purchase a couple of AVR'S soon.

There was a passive XO design for the high and mid published by JBL. Then you were intended to use an active setup for the bass. So that is why I am now building the Lpads and will use it passively for now with low pass at 300hz from mid and Audyssey DSP for now. Probably wont to much else other...

Mutual affair. LOL As I did enjoy your build also. I have received the tweeter resistors and now just waiting for the mid resistors. Hopefully all resistors will arrive in the next 2 weeks. Works keeping me busy which is a good thing. That way I can afford this hobby.

Sure beats my synergy horn. LOL You know the one thats still sitting in pieces in boxes because I havent started it yet.
