Distortion Measurements - "normalization" no longer working..?

Resurrecting this thread because I think I've run into something unusual. My THD results look... interesting. Can someone explain? Here's an example - why do the reported HD results at 40 Hz appear to be LOWER than at 100 Hz? The graph seems to suggest otherwise. I'm running v5.31.3 if it...

    REW on Android

Has anyone gotten REW to run on Android? I see that there seems to be a way to get it to run under Linux, so running it under Android might be possible ...

    "Blocked Impedance" Parameters discrepancy

REW seems to calculate different values for the semi-inductance ("blocked impedance") parameters. I performed an impedance measurement with REW, used its "Thiele-Small Parameters" tool to calculate the t/s parameters, then exported the impedance data to a file, imported it into the "Semi-Calc...

Distortion Measurements - "normalization" no longer working..?

Where do I choose % for the axis? I'm not seeing the option to do so, either in the Controls window or in the Set Graph Axis Limits window ...

Distortion Measurements - "normalization" no longer working..?

See graph below. I expect that with normalization the Fundamental would have been flattened and the shape of the distortion graphs would have changed (see https://www.roomeqwizard.com/help/help_en-GB/html/graph_distortion.html), but that doesn't seem to be the case. Distortion figures are shown...

Where were you 10 years ago?

Hmm... going back 10 years... The main listening room remains the same ... I've rebuilt the Mission 751 speakers that are my main speakers with new drivers and x-over designed for them using REW, XSim, DATS and a good mike, as the original drivers had fallen apart. The only thing Mission 751...

Feature request - uncorrelated stereo signal

As the title suggests, would it be possible to have an uncorrelated stereo signal (e.g. pink noise) added as a test signal? This would be useful for those systems like BT speakers that have stereo speakers that are located very close together.

    about measuring impedance

Last time that happened to me, it was because of the choice I made for sampling frequency.

Separate audio device preferences for impedance and frequency response measurement...

Is it possible to have separate audio device preferences for impedance and frequency response measurement? It would be great to use the DATS v3 hardwarewith REW for impedance measurement and a separate USB audio device for frequency response measurement (so all measurements can be done in the...

REW's "EQ" option - is it possible to add / remove EQs from the list?

Shucks - I was hoping that the info about the various EQs and their settings were hidden in a config file somewhere.... A user-configurable EQ would be a great addition to REW.

REW's "EQ" option - is it possible to add / remove EQs from the list?

Pardon me if the question has been asked before. Is it possible to add remove EQs from the list provided under the EQ option? I've got an ESX DSP installed in my car and it would be great if I can somehow add it to the list (and remove several of the others that I will probably never use).

    Subwoofer placement: Near field better?

I've tried it. Nearfield is definitely better.... if you're the only person who's listening to the system and you plan to stay in the same location all the time. As the subwoofer is very close to you, the amplitude of the direct sound from the subwoofer is much higher than the amplitude of any...
