Hi John,
When one auto calculates the PEQ filters within the EQ window, REW sometimes computes high Q values in the region of 10 or above. Currently, one is able to disable the PEQ bank from the "Auto EQ" process, however, I think it would be great to be able to disable/lock the Q value within...
Well, it means I'm doing a lot of double clicking when fine tuning by making small movements:hissyfit:. Is it possible to disable this behavior (double clicking to bring up the window)?
Hi John,
When working with EQ filters using drag and drop method on the latest build, the "Set graph axis limits" window randomly pops up. I am not sure what triggers it.
Hi John,
When I try to align the selected impulse responses in Impulse Overlay screen using the Offset t=0 option, it seems REW chooses the IR to align arbitrarily. In my case, I want to align the blue impulse to the red one but neither is selected in the pop-up window. It would be great to be...
Hi John,
When performing graph equalization by dragging filters in EQ tab, the pop up buttons (on the bottom right of the graphing area) used to change the frequency axis, often block the filter editing pointers when working with large, negative filter Qs at higher frequencies.
One has to...
I concur, John has created a masterpiece with REW. It is a brilliant piece of software with a great mix of features some not even available in commercial tools. We appreciate you John :hail:
Hi John,
I would appreciate it if you look into enabling one to zoom into the impulse responses when aligning the main loudspeker to the subwoofer in the alignment tool. This way, one can have better, real-time visibility into the alignment of the impulse peaks while doing fine delay...
Hi John,
Sometimes when working with filters in the EQ window, the filters values can obscore the effect of the filter on the predicted graph when one is busy dragging the filters on screen, see below. I would be great if there could be an option to disabled these values while dragging or toggle...
Hi John, Just curious to know if Pat's method is any didifferent to the sub to mains alignment process of using the Impulse alignment option within the Alignment tool
Hi John,
When time aligning audio channels against a subwoofer channel, either via IR or phase option, using the Alignment Tool, one often has to retype the delay time because it resets to zero when choosing another measurement.
Please consider adding an option to freeze/lock the chosen time...
Hi John,
Just a thought regarding the "Remove time delay" feature of the alignment tool. There are other scenarios like when measurements are taken in the car or for measurements that have been FIR processed, where relying on an IR start for removing the delay can be unreliable. I think it...
