During a calibration, find out how bright the projector is in that room on that screen. Contrast in that room, on that screen. Color, same. Feed those numbers into the HDR10, HDR10+ and DV engine. Similar to what LG does with autocal
Still waiting to see a projector where you can get calibration numbers (brightness, bt2020 accuracy, contrast and such) that you can feed into the projector to get the most accurate hdr10, hdr10+ and dolby vision. That is the sweet spot. Not sure why thats not a feature on higher end...
Well I hope value electronics includes a video game portion as the only thing in the near future that will do 8k is ps5 and xbox scarlett. Even though its only 75" they should include the LG 75sm9900 to be completionist
It doesnt surprise me. The CE industry forgot how to make stuff simple stupid. To get HDR to work you need to know how to turn on advanced HDMI on your tv, get the correct HDMI, know features to turn on in your 4k player or turn off secondary audio to get atmos. Its not consumer friendly at all...
