Further research shows it working with a different transmitter. Apparently the delay between receiving an audio signal and playing it back it too long on the one transmitter and not on the other.

I can occasionally obtain the timing signal but most often I can not. I get a few clicks from the speaker but no acoustic timing start tone. My setup is via AirPlay to my WISA transmitter that sends the sound via the UNII band to all the speakers. I have tried changing configuration from 5.1.2...

I found the prior version and it works with the mic.

I tried the same version of REW on my M1 Mac mini and it works fine with the mic. However, I can't move it to where I need to do my measurements. I retried after rebooting the MacBook and that didn't help.

I tried it again to be sure and same negative results. The version before the last two updates worked fine but I can't find it to download it.

I tried that thinking the same thing and it didn't work/fix the problem.

I am running on a MacBook (Intel) on OS X Big Sur 11.4 The latest two versions of REW do not connect to the mic even though it shows as connected. It says the cal file can't be all zeros. The cal file isn't all zeros. It has permission to read the file.
