If it is anything like the Trinnov channel remapping feature I would be careful in using it as it can introduce artefacts.
Basically it is a tool of last resort to create a virtual speaker in a particular location because you can't place a physical speaker there.

The feature roadmaps provided in their webinars have that feature placed later in 2022.
Things like per codec speaker layout and hdmi matrix switching are supposed to come before that.
I personally don't use the triggers, Inputs are you sources that you configure like hdmi 1, what preset & default upmixer is used with that source and what combination of triggers etc. You can have multiple inputs using the same source ( e.g. hdmi 1) but with different combinations of presets...
