Thanks 👍
But there are so many options. I think the important one is the checkbox for “Adjust Clock with acoustic ref.”
But what about the other options you can click on? I'm just wondering which measurements these are important for? For speaker development or...?
Best regards
Hello,
Since I regularly update REW, I wanted to ask whether my settings in the Preferences tab under “Analysis” are still correct.
I am still measuring with my Tascam US144mkII and a calibrated ECM8000 microphone. I use the acoustic time reference for measuring.
Thanks
I experimented a little and perhaps my settings (limits) in the EQ weren't chosen well. Does REW see if a dip is caused by cancellation and then correct it? Pumping energy into a dip with a narrow positive EQ filter doesn't help, i think?
I thought that maybe something had been done with the EQ...
Has anything changed in the EQ in the latest REW updates? It no longer corrects the frequency response as linearly, and the results are often not good.
Thanks
Thanks John
I have reactivated my old Mess laptop and now everything is working perfectly again. No error message, and the impulse response is always the same.
The Tascam works perfectly.
I have tried several things to solve the problem but I think that my Tascam US144 MKII may be causing problems. It's a bit older and maybe the drivers are a problem?
I will order the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen and try to measure it.
What do you think?
Ok
I measure in straight - thats without any surround mode?
When i enable the Analysis preference "Adjust clock with acoustic ref" i get an error
new messages with the Analysis preference
maybe i have problem with my measuring chain?
thanks
Hi
I measure my rear array of my DBA with “time reference” (Example) but I always get different impulse responses.
The measurements were made one after the other without changing anything.
Why is that?
the problem is when i work with the alignment tool it gives different results.
