I started with Netflix disc rentals (4 out at a time) in 1999 and only just recently dropped that part of the service.

The T-18s are surprisingly easy to move with carpet sliders underneath. I can slide them around the room without much effort. With my first set of PSA subs, I did not put sliders under them....a few months later, I had hernia surgery. Coincidence?? :) Of course, the T-18s have gobs and gobs...

Kindle is the way to go. If you read with a reading light or outdoors most of the time, you can get away with the basic 6" that lacks any lighting. It goes for $79, but around Black Friday it will probably be closer to $50. ;) Here's a great forum for all things Kindle: http://www.kboards.com/

Re-watched (for the ump-teenth time) Point Break (1991) last night. Bohdi and Johnny Utah are two of the best characters ever to grace the screen, IMO! Even with Keanu's sub-par acting, this has always been one of my favorite "guilty pleasure" movies. If you've never seen it, it is worth it for...

A 2.6 on IMDB and a 1.6 on Rotten Tomatoes...I'm not surprised it wasn't the greatest. ;) I'm sorry you had to go through that.... :)

I'd agree with you there, but I have to add The Mist. Although not as critically acclaimed, it is my personal favorite. The Langoliers...now that was just horrible!

I recently re-watched the original and the "Director's Cut" (which is sans Harrison Ford's VO). IMO, it still holds up quite well for a 35 year old sci-fi movie. Really, that can't be said about too many sci-fi movies from that era. There's Blade Runner, Alien, and......??? I am very much...

LOVED the book and have probably read it 3-4 times. The made-for-TV mini-series was a BIG disappointment for me. Here's hoping this movie actually does the book justice...BUT, looking back at the track record of "Stephen King books made into *quality* movies", I'm not keeping my hopes up too...
