    REW for the first time

You could probably use something like the Hang Loose Host https://accuratesound.ca/hang-loose-host-hlhost/ along with a decent Equalization plugin that would contain a nice high pass filter... Or, create a FIR filter and use a convolution engine like the Hang Loose Convolver also found at the...

    Metal Building

I think it should have the smallest door in the middle, then medium on each side, then largest on the outer edges... But that could just be my OCD kicking in... :dizzy: Pretty crazy it was done in 2 to 3 days... How many subs are you putting at each end for that waveformer? 3x3=9 at each...

An honest question about music purchases

It is called programming... And it is becoming more and more obvious to the casual observer... Project Mockingbird is just a little slice of the pie... And the Smith-Mundt Act was just a bit in the other direction... However, it was removed by the 44th...

I wonder what the _real_ reason for this shed is??? I thought that little room you were setting your gear testing up in was a bit cramped... Looks like the kind of place you could do some of that Trinnov WaveForming in... :hail: Or maybe Sonnie's Disco Palace... :neener:

    Speakers sensitivity

@Gerry Iaria, You say that your speakers frequency range are from 73Hz to 20kHz (+/-3dB)... I would say you are loosing quite a bit of bottom end of of many musical instruments... Here is a great read on this subject... https://www.zytrax.com/tech/audio/audio.html... So, I agree with @Todd...

    Metal Building

:T Your secret is good with me Sonnie... Now, just how many different ways can you interpret the instructions? And, how many different ways can you build this shed? If you can build it at least three different ways... You win the internet...

New Laptop question for REW, please?

I have had very good experiences with Asus laptops and desksides as well as Apple MacBooks... If you plan on using your laptop to play music to a streamer or external DAC I would recommend SSD over a rotating disk for your local storage... Much faster and less noise...

An honest question about music purchases

The triode tube in the Telefunken mic is a second-order err 'even' harmonics generator adding a warmer and richer tone... There are quite a few signal processing trix she could have in her vocal FX rack... No pun intended...

An honest question about music purchases

I have heard a lot of people in the industry say the same thing... My belief is that she has a lot of tech that makes her sound pretty good and she is not a very good singer... Things like a Telefunken U47 Large-diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone and some harmonizers to pitch correct her...

An honest question about music purchases

I switched from vinyl to digital several years ago and never looked back... Had several hundred albums... Then had several dozen CDs... Bought some digital albums from Apple... I haven't "bought" anything for maybe 5 years or so... Tried Tidal and Qobuz at the same time and found Qobuz more...
