sorry for what is probably a dumb question, but is it possible to run one of the modules, namely the signal generator, standalone?
Im building a dedicated piece of hardware to use a signal generator, based around a raspberry pi+TFT screen with a more robust line amp at the pi's audio output to drive more complicated/heavier loads.
I would like to use REW for this, as i know it runs on the pi/im already familiar with it, however I only have a rotary encoder+ some soft switches for navigation so booting to the main REW page and then having to navigate on a small tft screen to the tone generator seems impractical. If there is a similarly featured function generator that runs on linux, I am also open to that.
