Turntable/CD Player

Wondering how to make the connection from PC to one of my sources for music. Turntable & old Nakamichi CD player. Thanks

If the computer has a line input jack, the cassette deck could us it with a 3.5 mm to RCA adapter. The TT can use the same input, but it will most likely require an outboard preamp. The TT would connect to the pre-amp input, and the output to the computer line in.

If your computer has no line input, you’ll need a USB sound card to plug the TT and tape deck into.

Thanks Wayne. it's a Dell studio desktop and I'm looking at what's maybe 2 line in and a headphone jack. I've ordered a 3.5mm mini plug to 2xrac to connect to the preamp. And ordered a 30 active cable for the mic.
