OK, I said I was going to do it, so here it is. You jokers can now post your Duct Tape screen tests, Duct Tape port tuning, and projector mount experience here.

I'll bet Mechman works in hockey somehow, and Sonnie probably has houndstooth duct tape...

I'll bite...at work so I'll try an post a pic when I get home.

I built a PVC pipe frame for my double wide WalMart Ladder Stand. Bought a camo tarp from Harbor Freight, cut it up and had the wife sew it to fit (kinda like a tent). I cut a window along the front & a smaller one each side and duct taped some camo netting to cover the cutouts. Worked like a champ. When a deer or turkey comes by...well you know! :paddle:

I call it the Hillbilly Condominium stand!

The panhandle really should be part of lower Alabama.

I gave up on silver Duct Tape, Gorilla Duct Tape is where it's at!

:sneeky: Are you all referring to the actual duct tape brand or 3M brand duct tape? Furthermore are you comparing the general purpose use duct tape or automotive grade duct tape?

I agree with this !000%. Gorilla Duct Tape makes standard silver duct tape feel like scotch tape!

Is that a subjective assessment or do you have some test data to back that up?

Well, I made the mistake of buying standard duct tape to use in a place where I had removed some Gorilla duct tape. The results show that the Gorilla duct tape was 99.9% better at sticking to the surface AND having overall superior durability. Scientific facts!

How did you calculate the 99.9%? We need measurable data to verify this outrageous claim.

Here is the standard stuff... and it did the job. He did not fall...

Look at that waste! Gorilla would have required about an 8-inch section attached from his belly to the top of the ladder!

I'm not touching that belly! :gulp:

Okay... here it is:

Scientific PROOF!

If you buy this stuff, you'll be a believer.

I didn't see it actually tested, so it can't be scientific.

Well... throwing caution to the wind and accepting that kid's results, you have to admit the numbers are pretty impressive.

5 to 12 seconds versus 17+ minutes.

That's like Bama beating Auburn 99-3.

I think the latter is more likely to happen some season. :whistling:

Auburn...now there's a team you don't hear much about now days! But that's another thread.

And we have that thread going now, btw.

Already posted in it! That's all I'm saying.

I think Bama is going to kill us. Saban knows our secondary is going to be weak....I think that's why you saw so much passing in the spring game! Now, that's really all I'm saying!

Yeah... he could have really been using monkey tape... and did he have all of them setup correctly... no way to verify this.

I find wrapping duct tape around by glass makes my scotch taste better. I have been using generic duct tape, but I am going to try gorilla tape to see if it makes a difference.

Any scotch aficionado knows that one must use the true aluminum duct tape in order for the proper accentuation of the malt to succeed. Any other tape attenuates the flavors to such a level that you might as well be drinking it out of a rusty flagon!

Gorilla tape?!? Heathen!

Well, if you had been reading the Absolute Scotch, you would know that the Gorilla tape wrapped with aluminum foil is actually the best choice. It also blocks stray radiation that is pervasive in most home from interacting with the peated water preventing the flattening of the bouquet.

Anyone tried recording on duct tape?
