Iam a little confused about how to use the speakers own frequency curve as target.
After measuring and max smoothing, my speaker measurement (Mission 753 Freedom) looks already like a Harman Kardon curve (with a little fantasy ;-)
I like to keep this curve and only filter a few spikes.
How can i preserve my speaker own curve?

To save any measurement so it can be used as a house curve:
  • Offset the measurement level to 0 dB.
  • Export the measurement as a txt file.
  • Open the measurement as a house curve.

To get a smoother house curve that follows a measurement:
  • Use the cursor to identify 5 to 10 points on the measurement that you want to use for the house curve.
  • Create and save a simple txt file using any txt editor like MS Notepad with the X, Y points you chose per: Here.
  • Select 'Use logarithmic interpolation' for a smoothly blended curve between points.

Clarifications:
If you want to load either as a custom house curve for EQ purposes then either needs to be at a level near 0 dB.
If you just want to load them as a normal measurement they will come back in at whatever level you saved them at.

It was a huge trial error experience but after a few hours i was able to more or less preserve the speakers own curve with a great sounding filter at the end.
I had a to bombastic low and now everything sounds much more cleaner and natural.
Thank you for the guideline jtalden!
