REW vs ISO3382-1 standard etc.

Hi all, and thanks for your consideration! I'm pretty green with REW itself but hoping to use it in a semi-professional manner for an acoustics project, for RT measurements using the ESS method. As part of the project I will need to be able to assess the performance of the measurement system against the standards set out in e.g. ISO 3382-1 and ISO 16283-1. I don't have access to laboratory environments for measurements in the free-field, for example, and obviously my microphone/soundcard/speakers are a somewhat unique setup. Instead, does anyone know of any studies that compare REW and a typical microphone/PC setup against professional type-certified equipment, for a baseline?

There is a comparison study which included REW at http://www.zehner.ch/lab/ringversuch4.html, Google translate does a decent job on the text.

It was a few years ago and REW has been improved since, and also now has a frequency domain analysis method, but it should give a reasonable basis. The article series has more background on RT60 measurement in general.
