Crossover filter: miniDSP 2x4 HD
Hi,
I am running REW 5.19 B7 on a Laptop (Windows XP) and both
miniDSP 2x4 HD + UMIK-1 are connected at once when measuring.
What I wonder, is that I can select "miniDSP 2x4HD" as Output Device ?!
This would be a nice option instead of analog soundcard, but nothing happens.

Is that just a problem of OS device lists or is it be possible to feed the generator signal
directly thru miniDSP?

Thanks

Yes, USB can be used to send audio to the 2x4 HD, and get processed audio back. From the manual:

3.2.3 USB
Connect the USB (Type B mini) port of the miniDSP 2x4 HD to a free USB 2.0 port on your computer using the supplied cable. The USB is used for:
  • Configuration and real-time control of the miniDSP 2x4 HD,
  • Streaming audio from a computer or other device such as a music streamer, at up to 192 kHz, and
  • Streaming the processed audio (four output channels) from the miniDSP 2x4 HD to the computer.

the input selection on the miniDSP must be set to USB of course, than it's working fine!
I had not in mind this setting:
