Hi All

Firstly, what an amazing piece of software, THANK YOU John.

Precis:

Can REW be used as an alternative to ARTA for Impulse Response measurements? And how?

Forgive me but ARTA's manual is complex and I'm a nuub (although an ex-Electronics Eng.), REW's manual is AWESOME but I'm looking for something slightly more focused on speaker measurement, rather than room acoustics and simple (because I'm a still learning), something like this: http://audiojudgement.com/loudspeaker-measurements-part-2/ but using REW would be great...

Background and equipment:

Goal is to design an improved passive crossover for my year 2000 first ever speaker build (LMR-200). The original xover was poor but I love the bass response of these bookshelves. See https://1drv.ms/f/s!AgmKo7c0CB2xjC663paKOc3Rk54S for a chuckle.

My key tools of choice (so far) are:

Vituix - Software

Mic - Sonarworks XREF20 (with cal file) - Measurement Microphone for Recording Studios – Online store
REW - REW - Room EQ Wizard Room Acoustics Software

Appropriate leads

This will form a semi-dual loopback connection for accurate timing.
