For anyone who is looking to direct the output of REW to individual channels, in a multi channel output, this is possible.
For example, if you wanted to measure separately your front-left channel, and even compare it to a timing reference on your rear-right channel for example.

You will need to install ASIO drivers for Windows. I used ASIO4ALL 2.14.
Ensure your Windows advanced settings for the output device are set to 16bit (use shortcut: windows-r mmsys.cpl to access the windows dialogue box). 24 bit does not seem to work.
In REW preferences select Drivers:ASIO and ASIO Device:ASIO4ALL.
In REW click the ASIO Control Panel button, and the button for advanced setup (see asio4all documentation for interface help) to select your audio out and input interfaces/pins.
You may have to experiment with which output will give you access to all of the 8 or 6 (7.1 or 5.1) channels.
Attached is a screenshot of what worked for me.
You will then be able to output REW to any of the individual channels you want.
