Hey all

New member here.

I recently took all my treatment out of my room to make a measurement. I want to start from scratch as I think some of the treatment is causing problems.

Could someone take a look at my mdat and tell me how bad things are? I see the obvious dip at 120 but otherwise it looks ok ? Obviously with no treatment in - the reverb time will be terrible.

Any help and advice much appreciated. I'm happy to spend out a bit on specific problems and happy to DIY easy stuff. I am in the UK.

My room is an ok size but the ceiling is low.

203cm high

303cm wide

466cm long

Thank you

Joe

A couple questions: Is this one channel or two together? Is there a sub? If so where is it placed? It truly is not so bad (not nearly as bad as my room without treatment). 70Hz isn't a big peak but it resonates long in the time domain, as does 37Hz. Yes the big dip between 80 and 140 is problematic, but bass traps might help.
