Sorry, I pressed publish before finishing the title and don't know how to edit it.

This is about issues with Parallels connecting to a Scarlett audio interface.

Running Audiolense XO via Parallels inside a MacBook.

My DAC is a Scarlett 18i20 interface. Technically it is working fine, audio in the virtual machine is being routed to the interface.

However, within the virtual Windows itself, the interface is not appearing at all. The sound menu is only displaying the basic output. Audiolense is also not able to identify the Scarlett. It's as if the virtual machine can not find the superior sound card / DAC.

I installed the Scarlett driver (a piece of software called MixControl) but when I open it, it can't find the interface either.

I've spent about 90 minutes looking around online, and can't find anything useful. Any thoughts?

EDIT - is it worth just building a whole virtual windows setup inside Parallels? So that Audiolense can find whatever it needs inside there, and then later on it can be sent out through the normal channels?

If so, what might be needed?
